A Kirksville, Missouri, man allegedly killed and dismembered his victim's corpse according to the gruesome details recently released when charges were filed against the accused.  Paul R. Potter, 49, of Kirksville, has been charged with murder in the second degree, tampering with a motor vehicle, and arson...but nothing about the abuse of a corpse or any damned thing like that...hhmmmm!!!  Maybe they allow that in Kirksville!!  Hell, I don't know!  Anyway, Kirksville Police responded to a report of a vehicle fire after 11PM one recent night, beginning the steps toward a discovery of a much larger and gorey crime.  According to court documents, witnesses observed Potter leaving the vehicle that attracted attention.  While investigating, officers learned of another disturbance near 169 and 170 Valley Forge Drive, an apartment complex.  Both units were set ablaze...and officers saw Potter chuck objects at witnesses.  The objects just happened to be HUMAN ARMS!  Potter was immediately taken into custody after wreaking havok and creating chaos for a lengthy period of time.  Officers observed a dismembered carcass in one of the apartments...with the victim also sustaining multiple nasty injuries, consistent with large knife wounds.  According to the documents, Potter made several admissions to his crimes and had set the fires in an attempt to conceal the murder and butchery of his victim.  Potter is being held in the Adair County Jail on a $1-Million bond.  I don't care if somebody paid $20-Million to get his ass out of the slammer...this guy should be locked in a cage and put in a jacket with no sleeves and forgotten about!!!  He's a freakin' monster!!!!
