Miley Cyrus created quite the uproar from last night's performance at the MTV Video Music Awards. I don't really understand why. The VMA's have always been outrageous ... think back just ten years ago to "the kiss" between Madonna and Britney Spears. Even further back in to the 90's and 80's, MTV's award show is known for creating talk.
Last night was no exception as former Disney princess Miley Cyrus stripped to a flesh tone body suit and gyrated over Robin Thicke.
People all over the internets are calling her a slut. I call her a marketing genius. She did what she was supposed to do - create talk. Her video has gone viral and has people who didn't even watch the VMA's talking about her. Great job. And, conveniently timed with the release of her single on iTunes today. Marketing 101!
